It’s that time of week again… Get to know your crew members! Next up is Mr. Jamie Butler from Hungerford, England. Or as we like to call him… JB!!!
Why did you choose to get into diving?
I had never really thought about getting into diving until I went to visit a friend who was in Thailand on holiday at the time and he convinced me do it. And now I love it!
Where have you dived around the world?
I have been diving in England, Australia, Thailand, Malta, Philippines and now the Cayman Islands.
Where was your favorite dive spot around the world so far?
So far the best for me was in El Nido in the Philippines. They have such a wide variety of really big and reeeeally tiny marine life! It makes it exciting, as you never know what you will see.
Where would you still like to go diving that you haven’t been yet?
I would really like to dive Raja Ampat in Indonesia.
What brought you to the Cayman Islands?
I had the opportunity for a dive job, plus I already knew a few people living in the Cayman Islands so I thought it would be a great spot to try out next 🙂
What do you love about Cayman diving?
I really love diving with the sharks and going through all the different swimthroughs!
What do you like about working at White Sand Diving (WSD)?
I really like working with WSD because I work with the best people! This is one of the most important things for me when it comes to a job, getting along with the people you work with.
What is your favorite dive spot in the Caymans?
My favorite dive spots so far are Split Rock and Old Isaacs!
Well I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit more about JB and if you would like to know anything else or you would like to request JB as your Divemaster for your next dive, please do not hesitate to contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone +1 (345) 936-7263.
